Meet Dr. Leanne Burgin-Ball

Chiropractor Oxford County, Dr. Leanne Burgin-BallWhen Dr. Leanne was attending university, she thought she was studying to become an MD because of her interest in helping people and learning how the body works. “I thought I was going to go down that route. Then when I was studying for the MCAT exam, I had an ‘aha’ moment where I thought, ‘Hold on, I don’t like taking medicine.'” That’s when she realized that she didn’t want to become a medical doctor. She wanted to help people overcome health challenges naturally.

An Introduction to Chiropractic

Dr. Leanne considered being a naturopathic doctor and worked for one who was also a chiropractor. That’s when she first was introduced to the concept of chiropractic. From then she worked for a different chiropractor, and that’s when she thought this is what she wanted to do.

Education and Memberships

To earn her Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Leanne attended Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. She graduated in 1995 and is a member of the Ontario Chiropractic Association and the Canadian Chiropractic Association.

Looking at the Whole Person

At our practice, you’ll never be considered a number or a set of symptoms. Dr. Leanne takes the time to get to know her patients and adopts a whole body approach to care. She tailors care to each patient’s unique needs and provides both manual and instrument-assisted adjustments with the Pettibon instrument. She’s also invested in the Impulse IQ adjusting instrument.
